Esther Lee
Esther Lee is one of the surgery coordinators and administrative assistants for Dr. Leonel Hunt. With a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Occidental College, she has over 10 years of experience in research and patient care in the medical field. Esther coordinates surgery scheduling, obtaining authorizations, patient care coordination, and administrative duties as needed. She strives to provide the best service with compassion, empathy and efficiency for quality healthcare befitting the positive and passionate atmosphere of the Hunt Spine clinic. She is inspired by the work Drs. Gabriel and Leonel Hunt do towards achieving the mission of the Hunt Foundation and is proud to be a part of the team.
Jamie Galarraga
Jamie Galarraga has been with Dr. Leonel Hunt’s office for Ten years. She has over a decade of experience in the medical field, as a medical office services specialist and as a surgical coordinator. She is Dr. Hunt’s Executive assistant, who handles various office matters, special projects and coordinates patient care. Jamie enjoys the positive atmosphere of Dr. Hunt’s office. She especially admires Dr. Hunt’s innovative ideas and his vision for The Hunt Foundation. She is inspired by how much Dr. Hunt cares for his patients beyond his practice and is grateful for the opportunity to work with him and his staff.
Jennifer Solis
Jennifer is the clinic coordinator and assists in scheduling appointments, preparing clinic, and submitting authorizations. Jennifer enjoys working with the office staff and loves that everyone knows how to do everyone else's job, so they can all work together. She is passionate about helping others and appreciates the positive working atmosphere and that Dr. Hunt truly cares about his patients.
Raquel D. Peña
Raquel has been working for Dr. Leonel Hunt since September 2019. She is Dr. Hunt’s Surgical Coordinator. Raquel coordinates surgery scheduling, obtains authorizations, and assists with patient care. She is a positive, kind, and hardworking individual. She loves working in the Medical Field assisting patients with their healthcare needs and feels honored to be a part of Dr. Leonel Hunt’s Team.
Roza Jatkr
Roza Jatkr is the Director of Practice Affairs, supporting both patients and the clinical team by ensuring the practice operates smoothly and efficiently. She works closely with the staff to create a coordinated, compassionate experience for patients, from initial contact through ongoing care. Roza is committed to clear communication, responsiveness, and helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Anjalee Amin
Anjalee Amin serves as Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing branding, business development initiatives, and event planning. She works closely with the administrative team to ensure each patient's care path is clear, efficient, and seamless—helping patients access care as quickly as possible while supporting the practice's continued growth. Having been part of the New Jersey practice from the very beginning, she brings a relationship-first approach that strengthens both brand presence and professional synergy.
Samantha Pichardo
As the Business Development Specialist at HuntSpine, Samantha Pichardo plays a key role in expanding the practice's reach and strengthening relationships with patients, providers, and community partners. With a focus on strategic growth, referral development, and patient-centered collaboration, Samantha works to ensure HuntSpine continues to deliver innovative, high-quality spine care. Their commitment to building meaningful connections helps support the practice's mission of improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
Heydy Novillo
Heydy Novillo is a Paralegal and Health Care Service Coordinator who brings experience in legal support and patient advocacy to the practice. She works closely with doctors, patients, and other care providers to coordinate treatment, manage documentation, and ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. Heydy is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate support to every patient she works with.
Lelys Rivera, PA-C
Lelys Rivera, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Neurosurgery. Lelys also brings over six years of prior EMS experience, which strengthened her clinical judgment and adaptability in high-acuity environments. She is also fluent in Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with and provide high-quality care to a broader patient population. Lelys is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and is excited to continue her neurosurgical practice as part of the team at Hunt Spine.
Maria Torres
Maria Torres serves as a Patient Care Coordinator, providing reliable and compassionate patient support throughout the care process. She brings a strong background in coordination, documentation, and patient-facing communication, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuity of care. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, Maria is committed to clear communication and helping patients feel informed and supported at every stage of their treatment.
Mayra Garcia-Ruiz
Mayra Garcia-Ruiz is a Referral Specialist who helps coordinate patient care from start to finish. She supports patients with scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and managing medical records while also assisting at the front desk. With a strong attention to detail and a patient-centered approach, Mayra works closely with the provider and staff to ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient.
Enisa Olevic
Enisa Olevic serves as a Patient Representative Specialist, supporting patients throughout the intake process by coordinating medical records and ensuring all required imaging is accurately obtained and organized. As a key point of contact, she greets patients with warmth and professionalism, helping create a seamless and welcoming experience from the moment they engage with the practice.
Ivens Skerrett
Ivens Skerrett serves as Director of Client Relations, working directly with patients to ensure their care paths are clearly defined and thoughtfully supported. With a background in personal training, he brings a holistic, people-first approach to relationship building, helping foster meaningful connections that strengthen marketing initiatives and support ongoing business development efforts.
